The biggest update: face recognition to help you tag and find people in your photos. The technology comes from NevenVision, company acquired by Google in 2006. 

They’ve also added an Explore page for browsing new uploaded photos, featured photos and popular tags. Or you can play a nice little game called “Where in the world” (you’ll have to guess the place where random photos were taken).

Other small updates that I’ve seen: upload photos by emailing them to your Picasa Web account and the possibility to add Creative Commons licensing to your photos.

First impression: IS FAST, VERY FAST. And he uses less memory than Firefox. But there are no extensions, and I haven’t found how to configure a proxy for intenet access(so I can’t use it at work) In the Options - Under the hood tab there is a big button called Change proxy settings  (me blind sometimes :| ). 

So there you have it, the first impressions after 10 min or so of using the Chrome. I’ll be back with more ;)
